DNA Tests Sought 'For Every Britain'
"Every single person in the UK should be compelled to have their DNA on the national database in an effort to prevent crime, a senior police officer has argued.

Currently about two million people who have been charged with criminal offences have their DNA profiles on the national database.

But Kevin Morris, chairman of the Police Superintendents Association, told the Times newspaper opposition to extending the scheme to every man, woman and child was overstated...

Civil liberties campaigners have always opposed the suggestion, arguing it is intrusive to make such demands of people who have done nothing wrong. "

Dear Mr Morris.

Go and f*ck yourself.

Sincerely yours.

1. Oh bloody hell as you Britishers say
wonder if they'll use the "T" word or TERRORISM as another excuse for that too.

3. Is there more than one Britain?
Seriously, though, the word "scheme", as it applies to forcing every Briton to submit to DNA testing to "prevent crime", is apropos in its American English sense, which means a sinister plan.

4. Damn you and your pedantry......I am Arthur, King of the Britains.....
OK, it should have been "Britons".

Nadgers.

Well spotted.

P.

P.S.
Although having said that, maybe if they DNA tested Britain they just might clone a few more Britains....

5. Is "King of the Britains" like "Czar of the Russias"?

Anyway, I was also a bit surprised at the mention in the article about "extending the scheme" to every person in Britain:scared: "Scheme" must have some sort of benign meaning in Britain, I take it.

6. Yes. Yes it is. BTW - Britain has a "Drugs Czar"...
A bloke employed by the government to lead their campaign against illegal drug use.

There's a fine line between a Drug Czar and a Drug Baron or Drug Lord, IMHO!

7. The distinction lies in the pecking order, I believe
A "drug baron" does the bidding of his "drug lord", who in turn does the bidding of his "drugs czar".

9. Good - start with the so called house of windsor and see if any
of them are actually related - that'll be an eye opener..
Next, check out all members of parliament, current and former - since 1960 - including spouses and offspring, and cross reference this to H of W data. Then run this through the National Crime Squad DNA computer - unsolved crimes section (terrorism, bombings/explosions in general, unexplained murders, etc). That'll tell you more about British democracy than any other political/historical assessment ever written.
