Post staff report
The Hamilton County Board of Elections has certified the results of the Nov. 2 election, with no changes in outcomes from what unofficial vote tallies showed the day after the election.
"Some of the numbers changed a bit, but the results did not change," said Tim Burke, chairman of the elections board.
When provisional ballots and late-arriving absentee ballots were added to regular ballots cast on Nov. 2, President Bush's margin of victory over John Kerry in the county shrank by about 2,000 votes from the earlier unofficial tally, said Burke.

Burke noted that nearly 10,000 people in the county either voted for more than one presidential candidate or none at all. The 3,892 people who voted for more than one presidential candidate had their presidential votes disqualified, but their votes in other races were counted
Burke speculated that some of the 5,625 people who didn't vote for president did so as a protest against the candidates
