http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/6734757.htmPostcards notifying 2,300 voters that their polling places had changed -- including some voters in Akron's problem-plagued Ward 2 -- never got sent by the Summit County Board of Elections.

The problem comes on the heels of a board employee giving a potential candidate the wrong petitions to circulate in August and the disappearance of the petitions of Councilman Joe Finley, D-2, in June.
Finley was facing a challenge from Dodson, who is the law clerk for Board of Elections Chairman Russ Pry.

My view on this:
They tried their best to keep Finley out.
Also, Repub State Rep Bryan Williams (not the Faux newscaster) has been pushing for a term-limits initiative on the Akron Mayor position, long held by Democrat Don Plusquellic. Williams, himself a "victim" of term limits (and, I must say, one of the few Repubs who went relatively quietly), apparently believes that Plusquellic cannot be defeated, so he must be removed (by any means Republican).
