Musharraf rejects 'traitor' tag
In the latest round of Al Qaeda mudslinging, Pakistan's General Musharraf blasted Osama Bin Laden's deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri for denouncing him a 'traitor' and calling for him to be ousted:

Pot calling the kettle black? Musharraf is pro-Bush but a disaster in his own back yard. His accomplishments to date include renewal of hostilities with neighbouring India and complete failure to stamp on the heroin trafficking and associated money laundering.

Dumbo claimed not to know his name in his 2000 campaign TV interview, which is a bit odd as Mushharaf is an old buddy of Pop and a close confidante of Bandar.

1. Shrub couldn't remember his name during the 2000 campaign

Because he just calls him The Moustache during family BBQs at Kennebunkport.

(Actually, was it really Musharraf's name Shrub didn't know? I thought that "pop quiz" was a bit more exotic.)

2. Rumblings in Pakistan Army
There are signs that there is a strong disagreement with Musharraf in Pakistani Army. There is a possibility of another coup.

4. He is a military dictator
and he did overthrow the democratically elected government via a coup. Musharraf is another of those tin pot despots America loves so much, until they step out of bounds like Noriega did.
