... Ed Griffith, spokesman for Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle, said a man backed the truck up to one of the gated entrances of the parking lot at the Ernest Graham Building, where the state attorney's office is located.

The truck may have struck car. The man told security guards he needed to make a delivery, Griffith said. The man appeared very animated, the guards reported.

Security officers said the man then walked out one of the doors to the building and disappeared, leaving the truck in the driveway.

The 24-foot long truck, with a large $39 per day sign, was rented in Liberty City at around 8 a.m. by someone who gave fake personal information, said police spokesman Delrish Moss.

The suspect is decribed as mulatto male, wearing a green lumberjack flannel shirt and jeans.

25. Mulatto is common word used in Cuba

I lived in Miami for approx. 30 years and have traveled to Cuba. Mulatto is not a negative term, just a descriptive word. If the security guard was Cuban, it's very likely he would recognize if a person is mulatto.

Too bad everything in US has to have a racist connection. Perhaps if we Americans were more aware of other cultures, we would not be so quick to condemn everyone who is not exactly like us!!
