http://reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=worldNews&storyID=3439528

FALLUJA, Iraq (Reuters) - An explosion destroyed a U.S. military car west of Baghdad on Sunday, apparently seriously wounding one soldier, witnesses said.

The blast hit a Humvee vehicle in a U.S. convoy near the restive town of Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, they said. One soldier lay motionless on the side of the road near the Humvee after the attack as other soldiers combed the area.

There was no immediate comment from the U.S. military.
