Ohio Supreme Court dismisses challenge to elections

The Ohio Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed challenges brought by voters seeking to overturn President Bush's victory in the state and the re-election of Chief Justice Thomas Moyer.

In declining last month to remove himself from the case, Moyer, a Republican, called voters' evidence "woefully inadequate." He did remove himself from the challenge to his own election victory over Democratic Cleveland Municipal Judge Ellen Connally. Justice Maureen O'Connor dismissed that case.
