The Department of Defense announced today the death of two Marines and two Soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Matthew W. Holloway, 21, of Fulton, Texas and Lance Cpl. Juan R. Rodriguez Velasco, 23, of El Cenizo, Texas died Jan. 13 from injuries received as a result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. Both Marines were assigned to Marine Forces Reserve’s 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Corpus Christi, Texas.
