Polling agency CBOS asked 1,089 adults between Jan. 7 and Jan. 10 to name the world leaders who most commanded their respect in 2004.

Ukraine's new, reformist President Viktor Yushchenko was second followed by United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.

19. Well my wife is Polish and she can't stand Bush....but there are

other Polish friends that we have that like him. My father in-law is nuts for Bush but even he is having second thoughts concerning his handling of the American economy.

In general Poles are very conservative, I don't think they like Bush as much as they like Americans and American society in general.

Lots of Poles however, DO NOT like it when the 90 day tourist visa issue comes up. Poland is a full member of the EU now, and they still need visas in order to visit the United States. Most other EU countries do not need visas. If this issue is not resolved during Bush's second term, then you can bank on it that they will see the light.
