I refer to Clinton as a rascal in a fond way. Sort of like the lovable scoundrel in novels.

14. It could be a bright future
The Honorable William J. Clinton as Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton as President of the United States. It could actually lead to cooperation between the United States and the United Nations rather than the adversarial relation we have now.

12. It was interesting, in Canada there was a tsunami relief concert...
on Saturday night in Vancouver and last night in Calgary and Clinton alone, without poppy, sent a message via video supporting the events. Canada loves Clinton and despises the bush family and the fund raisers that planned these events know it and thats why it was Clinton alone.

then they look at Dubya... and they think... "They impeached this one over a blowjob but this guy can commit wholesale slaughter of 100,000+ and it's no big deal?" And their opinion of us suffers even more.

26. Clinton to be U.N. tsunami envoy, sources say
Former MSNBC News Services reportedly picked to keep disaster in spotlight
MSNBC News Services
Updated: 1:48 p.m. ET Feb. 1, 2005
UNITED NATIONS - Secretary-General Kofi Annan has selected former U.S. President Clinton to be the U.N. point man for tsunami relief and reconstruction, U.N. diplomats said Tuesday
“The secretary-general wants to make sure that once the television cameras leave, the world will not forget the victims,” said one envoy.
.N. spokesman Fred Eckhard refused to confirm the appointment but said "a statement will be released on the subject by my office in the next few hours."

Annan wants to appoint a special envoy not only to focus on the cleanup and reconstruction but to try to make progress on resolving conflicts with rebels in the two worst-hit countries — Indonesia and Sri Lanka, Eckhard said.

UNITED NATIONS - Secretary-General Kofi Annan has selected former President Clinton to be the U.N. point man for tsunami reconstruction and ensure that the world doesn't forget the needs of those devastated by the Dec. 26 disaster, a U.N. diplomat said Tuesday.
U.N. spokesman Fred Eckhard refused to confirm the appointment but said his office would release a statement shortly. Clinton had no immediate comment.
Annan wants the special envoy to also help resolve rebel conflicts in two of the hardest hit countries, Indonesia and Sri Lanka, Eckhard said.

UN SECRETARY GENERAL. I've always thought he'd be a great fit for the job....the real KING OF THE WORLD. And now, they are talking about it.

And I'd bet a lot of countries that have problems with the US would make an exception for the Big Dog....and best of all, it would piss off the weecowboy to NO end!!!!

35. Why would the US object to having a US citizen control the UN?
Wont happen because the world doesnt want US citizens running both this country and the UN, but if the UN was foolish enough to do it, would seem to me that the Bush administration would be all for it.

Jesse Helms is an idiot.
