WASHINGTON - A court decision to postpone the California recall election until more modern voting equipment is in place could throw a spanner in elections across the United States when the presidential primaries start in four months.
NEW TWIST: A REVIEW?
LOS ANGELES - The federal appeals court that has postponed California's recall election said on Tuesday that it may review that decision, introducing yet another plot twist into the state's extraordinary political drama.
The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals invited all parties in the lawsuit that led to the delay of the recall to file papers by yesterday afternoon.
