>>or the values our men and women in uniform represent.<<
In my country, the one I used to live in... we were allowed to like and dislike whatever we chose. We called it democracy... alas it has become a fascist state now...
Values... oh yeah... those frigging values, kiss my ass. Moral high ground you've got to be kidding me... loser. Why are some politicians so full of shit, it goes beyond my ability to comprehend... truly amazing.

by Joyce Chediac
I want to give testimony on what are called the "highways of death." These are the two Kuwaiti roadways, littered with remains of 2,000 mangled Iraqi military vehicles, and the charred and dismembered bodies of tens of thousands of Iraqi soldiers, who were withdrawing from Kuwait on February 26th and 27th 1991 in compliance with UN resolutions.
U.S. planes trapped the long convoys by disabling vehicles in the front, and at the rear, and then pounded the resulting traffic jams for hours. "It was like shooting fish in a barrel," said one U.S. pilot. The horror is still there to see.

http://www.baja.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000109.htmlDick Wadhams, spokesman for Sen. Wayne Allard, R-Colo., said Monday that 28 cadets now have contacted the senator's office to say they were assaulted, up from 25 on Friday. The Pentagon last week acknowledged 54 sexual-assault reports involving cadets, but officials said Monday that the number has risen to 56.
The two studies shed more light on the issue of sexual assault in the military.
The conclusion that 28 percent of the women on active duty in the Air Force have been raped, compared with 13 percent of women in the general population, came in a little-publicized report two years ago that stunned its authors.
"I was surprised they were so much higher - twice the rate of a national women's survey," Bostock said.

Investigation: By Neil Mackay Home Affairs Editor
SEVENTEEN British companies who supplied Iraq with nuclear, biological, chemical, rocket and conventional weapons technology are to be investigated and could face prosecution following a Sunday Herald investigation.
One of the companies is Inter national Military Services, a part of the Ministry of Defence, which sold rocket technology to Iraq. The companies were named by Iraq in a 12,000 page dossier submitted to the UN in December. The Security Council agreed to US requests to censor 8000 pages -- including sections naming western businesses which aided Iraq's weapons of mass destruction programme.
