1. Has anybody actually kept track of the number of Dean endorsements?
My head is spinning from all of them... although, luckily, that's a good thing. :D

3. Hey Tom DeLay
"After 10 years, you have to wonder if the Democrats are running out of ways to say no'' to Republican proposals, said Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay of Texas. "But, of course, if they make Howard Dean their chairman, they can yell it.''

5. Re: Hey Tom DeLay.
The point is Democrats HAVE been running out of ways to say no,
and started saying MAYBE.

The answer is NO.
It's always been NO.
It's the truth,
pure and simple.

6. Yep, now is the time to hear some "Dean screams" big time.
The assclowns ain't heard nothin' yet.

I hope all these endorsements mean people are finally coming to their senses, and will ignore the prognosticating whores on the glowing brothel of TEEVEE who say Dean is " bad for the party." (Which is said out of genuine terror.)

Thanks for the past advice Mr. Novak, but you can leave it in your sterling silver drool bucket.

Maybe folks are taking George's cautionary Malapropism to heart: "Fool me once ... shame... on me... Fool me twice ... won't get fooled again!"

10. Glad to see it. This is one endorsement I was worried about.
I was afraid the Iowa Dems would still be holding a grudge against Dean for that 8-year-old video of him dissing the caucus system on a local Canadian public affairs show...

...you know, that video that our MSM released a month before the Iowa caucus, after which Dean's poll numbers began to plummet?

37. Are you really blaming the media for Dean's demise?
It's not like the played the scream video over and over an over again. Or jumped on every little misstep he made (I was at the event in Iowa where he 'shouted down' the elderly gentleman - who happen to be a Republican and happend to have driven out of his way to attend the event and who happend to have berated Dean for five minutes before Dean asked him to stop so he could get back to the event that was FOR Dean...oh, yeah, and the crowd cheered Dean when it was doen...did that make the news?)

The same corporate media whores that Dean said he'd dismantle if he became President? Not them!!!!

State party committee throws support to Howard Dean

Associated Press

AUGUSTA, Maine — All four of Maine´s voting members of the Democratic National Committee are supporting former presidential candidate Howard Dean in his candidacy for the party´s national chairmanship.

Maine Democratic Party Chairman Patrick Colwell said he and Vice Chair Marianne Stevens, along with DNC members Sam Spencer and Jennifer DeChant, are joining Gov. John Baldacci in supporting the former Vermont governor for the national party´s top post.

Dean is front-runner in a race that also includes Donnie Fowler, who headed political outreach for the high-tech lobby TechNet, New Democratic Network President Simon Rosenberg and former Indiana Rep. Tim Roemer.

Colwell said Dean energized Maine Democrats during the 2004 presidential campaign "in ways we haven´t seen for years." He said Dean carries promise to revitalize party organizations down to the municipal level.

press-release

NEA Endorses Dean for DNC Chair

WASHINGTON- The National Education Association (NEA), the nation's largest teachers organization, is endorsing former Vermont Governor Howard Dean for Chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

"Howard Dean is a strong advocate for children and public education, and will serve well as a national political leader on these issues," said NEA President Reg Weaver.

"Governor Dean understands that a strong economy requires good public schools, that 90 percent of tomorrow's workers are being educated in public schools, and that public schools help grow and sustain healthy communities," Weaver said. "In short, he shares our vision for working together with parents, teachers, and education support professionals to make public schools great for every child."

NEA will urge the NEA members who serve on the Democratic National Committee to vote for Governor Dean.

24. Howard Dean Gets Endorsement of Southern Black Democrats for DNC Chairmans
February 3, 9:38 a.m.

Howard Dean Gets Endorsement of Southern Black Democrats for DNC Chairmanship

Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean has picked up the endorsement of the Conference of Southern Black Democrats as he attempts to become chair of the Democratic National Committee.

Joe Reed, Chairman of the Alabama Democratic Conference, and Al Edwards, State Representative in the Texas Legislature, issued a joint statement Wednesday announcing the endorsement which will be formalized in Washington on February 11th, the day before the DNC picks a successor to outgoing Chairman Terry McAuliffe at a meeting on February 12 in Washington, D.C. The race for DNC chair appears to be a race between Dean and Democratic activist Donnie Fowler, activist Simon Rosenberg and former Indiana Rep. Tim Roemer.

According to Reed, Dean made a favorable impression on CSBD representatives during the Democratic National Committee's meeting in Atlanta on January 8th.

Reed says, "To restore the Party back to its dominance status, it's going to require someone who can speak for Democrats across this country - all Democrats - blue states and red states - who will support state parties through fundraising and other efforts and work to ensure that all Democrats are heard."

"Reed says, "To restore the Party back to its dominance status, it's going to require someone who can speak for Democrats across this country - all Democrats - blue states and red states - who will support state parties through fundraising and other efforts and work to ensure that all Democrats are heard."

The Conference of Southern Black Democrats is the first and only organized black group to publicly come out for Dean;however, there are some individuals who have already made it known that Dean is their preference.

Dean's organization, Democracy for America, helped get Anita Kelly elected to the Montgomery Family Court. Kelly was the first black woman elected to the Court."

39. YES! I wrote pederson and asked her to endorse Howard!
Hailing from Iowa City here!

I wrote Lt.Gov Pederson about 10 days ago and asked her to please endorse Howard Dean for DNC chair. I hope she was influenced by my letter!

Here's what I wrote:

Dear Lt.Governor Pederson,

I'm writing you to ask you to please endorse and support former Governor Howard Dean for DNC Chairmanship.

I'm 26 years old and I am employed at the University of Iowa. I became interested in Howard Dean in late 2002 during his run for president in 2004. I have never been so inspired by a candidate as much as I have been by Howard Dean. I have been a lifelong Democrat and I voted for Bill Clinton the year I turned 18. I was devastated when John Kerry lost the election in November and I immediately began looking for some way begin fighting again for what’s right and fighting against George Bush.

When I heard that Howard Dean was running for DNC Chairmanship I was ecstatic! He is exactly what the party needs.

I am concerned that the Democratic Party has become too much like the Republican Party and has been pandering them and their attacks to try to find a way to appeal to the voters in the middle. We need to stand up for our values, which are ultimately true American Values of a strong middle class, fiscal responsibility and equal rights for all. That's how we appeal to voters and that’s how we compete in all 50 states and in all elections. This is Howard Dean's plan.

Please endorse Howard Dean.

Thank you,
