Washington Times apologizes for [anti-Semitic] ad
<snip> In a letter to the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, Times vice president and general manager Richard Amberg Jr. said he was sorry "both personally and on behalf of The Washington Times" for the "offensive ad that appeared on Jan. 20.

The advertisement was headlined "President Bush, May The Lord Jesus Christ Bless You and Guide You In Your Second Term," but continued, "However, do not continue to allow those folk of the anti-Christ to influence you and/or control you. Israel and her Zionists are not a friend to Christianity, Christians or Christ!"

The ad also said: "Don't ever forget, the Iraqi war is Israel's war paid for by the death of Americans -- and the next generation's financial security." The ad is signed "In Christ, Stan Rittenhouse," and promotes a book Rittenhouse wrote titled Fear of the Jews. <snip> link

11. Moonies now talking churches into removing crosses!
how very Christian of them! </sarcasm> They say it's a gruesome" inappropriate symbol for Christians today. A far greater threat to Christianity, I maintain, than those "Israeli Zionists".

http://www.student.northpark.edu/pemente/nocross.htm

An official web site of the Unification Church reports that 123 churches removed the Cross from the sanctuary over the Easter weekend (April 18–20, 2003), in agreement with the teaching of Rev. Sun Myung Moon. They also claim to have gathered 258 signatures of Christian clergy, who affirm that the Cross is a "gruesome" and inappropriate symbol for Christians today and should be replaced.

What would happen if the fundies ever learned of this, and the chummy Bush**/Moon connection? Would their heads explode, or would they just call us a bunch of godless commies for brining it up?

5. I understand about Israel possibly involving us with their problem with
Iran but what is this crap? I mean Israel is a country and it's OK to disagree with them as a country but not their religion. This ad also ignores that we have a large Jewish population, a large Muslim population, many Buddhists, Wiccans, etc.... I didn't mention the Christian one because as far as I'm concerned they shouldn't speak for America, they aren't the only religion here even though I'm sure they would get all warm and fuzzy thinking about killing anyone who isn't.

I don't know of many white or christian nationalists who vote Democratic.

The best the GOP can do is call the Dems antisemitic for not believing that Israel can do no wrong.

15. Actually I think it's more because
at every anti-war rally, there always seemed to be people with Israeli flags where the Star of David was replaced with a swastica. Walked away from a rally in San Francisco for just that reason.

7. This may have an upside
Perhaps those Jews who voted for this idiot will realize what they are REALLY up against!! The other possible good is that REAL Christians will get off their butts and yell and scream how people like THIS do NOT represent them!!

16. No Jews in my family
Have ever voted Republican. I think the bush the lesser gets very little of the Jewish vote. Traditionally Jews are Democrats and if you follow the bush family back only to bush the lessers grandfather you will see massive support for the Nazi Party. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I think you're right. Fortunately, someone did notice and object. But the apology should take up as much space as the objectionable item. That would be fair, too.

17. Mooninites
<snip> In a letter to the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, Times vice president and general manager Richard Amberg Jr. said he was sorry "both personally and on behalf of The Washington Times" for the "offensive ad that appeared on Jan. 20.

Read that last part as them being sorry for the "fact that a bunch of Jewish people saw the offensive as that appeared on Jan. 20"
These Mooninites are so eager to cross over the line, but as soon as someone calls them on it or threatens them financially their true pussy-nature is exposed and they backpedal right back over that line. He probably had that apology typed up before they ran the ad.

22. Bunch of sick bastards
If these morons that placed the ad in the Moonie Times are true Christians, then they should know that Jesus Christ was born a JEW! And that Christ forgave those that crucified Him from the cross. What a bunch of hypocrites.

24. It's what they call at the WTimes an "ooooops!"
"...do not continue to allow those folk of the anti-Christ to influence you and/or control you...."

The moonie propagandists call this type of "error" an "oops" you can read about that here:

http://cellwhitman.blogspot.com/2004/10/independent-washington-times.html

That is REALLY, REALLY rich. Bush and his Dad just sent greetings to a get together put on by three Moon front groups. Moon gave the keynote address. Read that here:
http://gadflyer.com/articles/?ArticleID=258

The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) IS the Unification Church after the name was changed. Here is Poppy helping the Moon organization do the name change head fake. That IS the Unification Church emblem he is standing behind. Our nation has come a long way - Moon guided it and soul selling shills like Bush 41 helped him pull it off.

Moon molded, funded, and guided the new right's takeover of our government. No Moon No Bush.

He outspent Scaife, he has more to with our nation's political situation than anyone. Anyone.

read some of that here: http://cellwhitman.blogspot.com/

25. Israel appears to be awakening to Moon's 'efforts' in the ME
Moon has been sticking his deceptive cult in the middle of the ME negotiations. His group brags that they advise our State Department and claim they have been thanked by the administration for their 'efforts'.

This is a HUGE story folks and few know much about it. The "media" REFUSES to report on it.(it took them two months to report the crowning. I sent many of them - including liberal writers - proof that had occurred by April 1, 2004, it wasn't reported in the MSM until June.)

Anyway, most of Moon's efforts, not just in the ME but around the world, have only been reported by his own media.

Here, looks like someone has opened their eyes in Israel.

please note - you have in this article another person claiming that the IIFWP isn't Moon.

EVERYTHING MOON CREATES IS PART OF THE CON!!! EVERYTHING he and his members do is designed to put he and his group in charge of the direction of world events, that is ALL they do...
