Documents reveal CIA recruited five of Eichmann's associates: Haaretz

Five of Adolph Eichmann's Nazi assistants were recruited and employed by the Central Intelligence Agency after World War II, according to recently declassified intelligence documents.

The information came to light after a lengthy battle waged by the non-profit group, The National Security Archive, whose goal is to expose government documents under the framework of the Freedom of Information Act.

The newly-revealed documents are based on internal investigations in the CIA's history department. The agency has steadfastly refused to make the documents public for fear they would cause embarassment.

The revelations cast a negative light not only on American intelligence activity but also the U.S. Army's conduct in Germany at the conclusion of the war. The military made efforts to recruit members of the SS and the Gestapo into its ranks despite simultaenously waging a campaign of de-Nazification over vanquished Germany, a process which included arresting and trying Nazi war criminals.

Two weeks later, the otherwise healthy Dutch banker died of a heart attack.

January 10, 2004—Just before his death, James Jesus Angleton, the legendary chief of counterintelligence at the Central Intelligence Agency, was a bitter man. He felt betrayed by the people he had worked for all his life. In the end, he had come to realize that they were never really interested in American ideals of "freedom" and "democracy." They really only wanted "absolute power."

Angleton told author Joseph Trento that the reason he had gotten the counterintelligence job in the first place was by agreeing not to submit "sixty of Allen Dulles' closest friends" to a polygraph test concerning their business deals with the Nazis. In his end-of-life despair, Angleton assumed that he would see all his old companions again "in hell."

The transformation of James Jesus Angleton from an enthusiastic, Ivy League cold warrior, to a bitter old man, is an extreme example of a phenomenon I call a "paranoid shift." I recognize the phenomenon, because something similar happened to me.

Although I don't remember ever meeting James Jesus Angleton, I worked at the CIA myself as a low-level clerk as a teenager in the '60s. This was at the same time I was beginning to question the government's actions in Vietnam. In fact, my personal "paranoid shift" probably began with the disillusionment I felt when I realized that the story of American foreign policy was, at the very least, more complicated and darker than I had hitherto been led to believe.

In his book, "Rogue State: A Guide to the World's Only Superpower," William Blum warns of how the media will make anything that smacks of "conspiracy theory" an immediate "object of ridicule." This prevents the media from ever having to investigate the many strange interconnections among the ruling class—for example, the relationship between the boards of directors of media giants, and the energy, banking and defense industries. These unmentionable topics are usually treated with what Blum calls "the media's most effective tool—silence." But in case somebody's asking questions, all you have to do is say, "conspiracy theory," and any allegation instantly becomes too frivolous to merit serious attention.

Those two posters are both astute, and more attuned to such goings on than I am. But my curiosity has been piqued, and the wheels of my imagination have been set in motion, so I'm going to spin a wee little yarn here in which any resemblence to persons living or dead is purely coincidental.

In 1972 the American Indian Movement came to the attention of President Richard Nixon in the form of a Trail of Broken Treaties march on Washington. Nixon, being a devious and hostile man, decided that the movement must be destroyed. He was informed that although the FBI's COINTELPRO (Counter Intelligence Program) had been officially terminated the year before, the Bureau still had moles and agents provacateur working within the American Indian Movement. Nixon concluded that the Bureau's agents were failing miserably. He turned to his friend George Herbert Walker Bush for help.

Conveniently Bush, who was ostensibly serving as UN Ambassador (in fact he reported to Kissinger, head of the NSA), kept a secret office in the White House. It was the same office Bush worked from as head of the RNC, beginning that next year.

Bush understood that the job Nixon wanted done called for the CIA. DCI Helms, a career intelligence professional, was regarded as useless. Bush, however, had close contacts at Langley and was quickly able to put together a mission to crush the American Indian Movement.

Enter Warren Kirchengast. Kirchengast had been recruited by the CIA during a tour of Viet Nam. Upon returning to the States, he had been planted to hang around the fringes of the antiwar movement and various leftist activist groups. By 1972 he had developed a reputation among COINTELPRO agents as a potential wacko. The Bureau's agents of course had no idea that Kirchengast was a CIA mole. Kirchengast was assigned to infiltrate and cripple the American Indian Movement by any means necessary.

Operation Paperclip is coming home to roost. Kirchengast, having completed his original assignment, is reactivated. The campaign to seriously discredit him begins in 2000. In early 2001 he is given the phrase "little Eichmanns" and told to plant it upon receiving orders. In September of 2001 he recieves his orders.

Is this story anything but unadulterated hogwash? See the caveats and cautionary notes above. But also, try a little experiment on yourself. Try some free association with the name "Eichmann." How deep do you have to dig to come up with the name "Ward Churchill"? How far away is "Prescott Bush"? What is your emotional reaction to the associations you have?

Reverend Franklin Graham, the pugnacious preacher who delivered the prayer at President George W. Bush's 2001 inauguration, might have a bone to pick with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). When Franklin branded Islam "a very evil and wicked religion" after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, he had no idea that American spies were once eager to promote a Muslim leader in the Middle East modeled after his own father, the famous evangelist Billy Graham.

The CIA often works in mysterious ways - and so it was with this little-known cloak-and-dagger caper that set the stage for extensive collaboration between US intelligence and Islamic extremists. The genesis of this ill-starred alliance dates back to Egypt in the mid-1950s, when the CIA made discrete overtures to the Muslim Brotherhood, the influential Sunni fundamentalist movement that fostered Islamic militancy throughout the Middle East. What started as a quiet American flirtation with political Islam became a Cold War love affair on the sly - an affair that would turn out disastrously for the United States. Nearly all of today's radical Islamic groups, including al-Qaeda, trace their lineage to the Brotherhood.

To understand what happened on that fateful day when terrorist strikes leveled the World Trade Center and damaged the Pentagon, one must revisit the turbulent changes that took place a half century earlier in the land of the sphinx. After seizing power in a 1952 military coup Egyptian Col. Gamal Abdul Nasser quickly threw prominent Communists in jail. Although Copeland never found the CIA's messiah, his furtive machinations were not without impact. While on the prowl for a Muslim Billy Graham, Copeland reached out to leaders of the religious revival movement known as the Ikhwan, or Muslim Brotherhood, which sought to build an Islamic society from the bottom up. The seeds of a clandestine relationship between the CIA and the Ikhwan were planted by Copeland, who surmised that the Muslim Brothers, by virtue of their strong antipathy to Arab nationalism as well as Communism, might be a viable counterweight to Nasser in the years ahead, US intelligence would become a defacto partner of the Brotherhood as it evolved from a mass-based social reform organization into the wellspring of Islamic terrorism.

I know very little about the Franklin Cover Up, but I did some reading that led me in many directions. I read about MK Ultra and other "mind control" experiments that have been done on children.

Were the children involved in the Franklin Cover Up a part of mind control? Or was this purely exploiting them for sexual purposes?

Some of the adults who claim that they were part of the Franklin Cover Up (Paul Binacci) and other cult-like rings--describe mind control techniques that sound Naziesque.

What was the government's purpose in using these "Nazi" mind-control techniques on children?

Were the mind-control techniques used to silence the children, to keep a lid on the organized sex rings that were ongoing?

Or was the sexual abuse just one part of larger mind-control research or experimentation?

If I'm not mistaken, you've mentioned the Johnny Gosh abduction/disappearance on the board. I read up on that and found some very interesting material, written by Gosh's mother. She alleges that her son was abducted to participate in a govt-run child-sex ring. She bases her assertions on very-powerful evidence, including testimony from Paul Binacci--a victim of the Franklin Cover Up who sued and won damages for the pain and suffering he endured.

I'm wondering...why would the govt be involved in this sick stuff? Just because they can? Or are they researching mind-control techniques?

24. It's complicated and murky, but this is what I think:

there seems to be a branch of Nazi-influenced mind control research that has used young children as subjects. It appears the younger the subject, the less resistant they are to programming. Trauma is used to intentionally fragment the personality, and create "alters."

Why would they do it? I think because they are pure materialists, in the philosophical sense.

There's an interesting lecture here by Jon Rappaport on "The CIA, Mind Control and Children" that makes that point:

"I would say this is a Nazi project, but a lot of the Nazis are American-born. It shouldn't be excused or explained away on that basis because as we know, if we look at Nazi psychiatry for example, they learned a lot from the Americans, especially about eugenics. This is also the sub-sub-basement that you walk into when you are a materialist, when that is your philosophy. And I don't mean you are a materialist in the sense that you want money, possessions ... Idealism should have declined ages ago, but actually has developed and carried on a struggle for supremacy with materialism from which neither seems to be emerging as victor. The reason lies in the continued division of society into classes. In its own interest, the oppressing class must develop and reinforce its idealist doctrines; the oppressed classes, likewise in their own interest, must develop and reinforce their materialist doctrines. Both idealism and materialism are weapons in the class struggle, and the struggle between idealism and materialism cannot disappear so long as classes continue to exist. Consequently, the history of the struggle between idealism and materialism in philosophy reflects the struggle of interests between the reactionary class and the revolutionary class.

22. Go back to when Hitler met Dietrich Eckart

Hitler wanted to turn the German Workers Party into a mass-conscious fighting party, but Harrer and Drexler were hesitant, due in part to their woeful financial situation. The Thule Society was not yet supplying very much money and no one seemed to know how to build up a mass party. Hitler arranged two public meetings in obscure beer halls, and he drafted leaflets and posters, but there was no real breakthrough.

All of this changed dramatically at the end of the 1919 when Hitler met Dietrich Eckart. Most biographers have underestimated the influence that Eckart exerted on Hitler. He was the wealthy publisher and editor-in-chief of an anti-semitic journal which he called In Plain German. Eckart was also a committed occultist and a master of magic. As an initiate, Eckart belonged to the inner circle of the Thule Society as well as other esoteric orders.

Briefly, the creed of the Thule Society inner circle is as follows: Thule was a legendary island in the far north, similar to Atlantis, supposedly the center of a lost, high-level civilization. But not all secrets of that civilization had been completely wiped out. Those that remained were being guarded by ancient, highly intelligent beings (similar to the "Masters" of Theosophy or the White Brotherhood). The truly initiated could establish contact with these beings by means of magic-mystical rituals. The "Masters" or "Ancients" allegedly would be able to endow the initiated with supernatural strength and energy. With the help of these energies the goal of the initiated was to create a race of Supermen of "Aryan" stock who would exterminate all "inferior" races.

There can be no doubt that Eckart - who had been alerted to Hitler by other Thulists - trained Hitler in techniques of self confidence, self projection, persuasive oratory, body language and discursive sophistry. With these tools, in a short period of time he was able to move the obscure workers party from the club and beer hall atmosphere to a mass movement. The emotion charged lay speaker became an expert orator, capable of mesmerizing a vast audience.

One should not underestimate occultism's influence on Hitler. His subsequent rejection of Free Masons and esoteric movements, of Theosophy, of Anthrosophy, does not necessarily mean otherwise. Occult circles have long been known as covers for espionage and influence peddling. Hitler's spy apparatus under Canaris and Heydrich were well aware of these conduits, particularly from the direction of Britain which had within its MI5 intelligence agency a department known as the Occult Bureau. That these potential sources of trouble were purged from Nazi life should not be taken to mean that Hitler and the Nazi secret societies were not influenced by mystical and occult writers such as Madame Blavatsky, Houston Stewart Chamberlain, Guido Von List, Lanz Von Liebenfels, Rudolf Steiner, George Gurdjieff, Karl Haushofer and Theodor Fritsch. Although Hitler later denounced and ridiculed many of them, he did dedicate his book Mein Kampf to his teacher Dietrich Eckart.

Nazi Interest in Parapsychology and the Paranormal
There was widespread interest by the Nazis in various paranormal topics. Albert Speer was clearly very interested in geomancy and the ley lines and sacred spots of Germany, and some of his architecture betrays knowledge of principles of mystical geometry and numerology. The Vril Society in Germany promoted the idea that there might be a mystical energy within the earth that could be tapped by the German people, although Bulwer-Lytton had maintained it was the property of a race living inside the earth. It is well known that Hitler consulted astrologers for propitious dates for his military campaigns and employed dowsers on the battlefield to search for water and for minefields. There was also some interest by the Nazi cadres in parapsychology as an espionage device - research that appears to be carried along by the intelligence apparati of the two victorious Allied powers (our CIA and the Soviet KGB.) Further, the Nazis were interested in antigravity and 'free energy' devices. Viktor Shauberger, a Nazi scientist, worked on a saucer design for one of his 'antigravity' ships16. For a long time, it was believed that the 'foo fighters' and 'ghost rockets' of the 1940s were a secret Nazi weapon, and there was a small minority that thought the Nazis may have created the 'flying saucers,' though the ETH-UFO hypothesis caught on soon after, by 1949.
But what captivated Hitler's interest most of all was his interest in hypnosis or the occult powers of 'fascination.' HITLER'S THULE SOCIETY -- AN OVERVIEW

Let us begin with a quick overview of the German Thule Society, beginning with a study of its practices and relevant history. Members were Satanists who practiced Black Magick -- this means that they were "solely concerned with raising their consciousness by means of rituals to awareness of evil and nonhuman intelligences in the universe; and with achieving means of communication with these intelligences." (Ravenscroft, Spear of Destiny, p. 161). Concentrate on that seemingly innocent word, rituals. Christians equate a ritual to a church service, thereby not understanding its occultic meaning. The New Age Dictionary defines ritual as a "ceremony to restore balance with nature...and bring back lost harmony and sacredness." Remember we are dealing with the Satanic world, where good is called evil and evil is called good. The sacredness mentioned here is a Satanic sacredness. Rituals literally are proscribed activities designed to allow demonic power to flow through the participants. These activities are proscribed chants, formula wordings, and carefully planned actions. The effect is devastatingly powerful, as demonic force pours through the participants, delivering a counterfeit spiritual experience which literally transforms their lives. Never skip over the word ritual, as it is a word of Satanic power.

Thule members practiced a form of Sexual Magic derived from a lodge of which Aleister Crowley was a member. Crowley was recognized as the foremost worshipper of Satan in the 19th Century. "The origin of this...medieval magic...can be traced to a Freemason, Robert Little, who founded the Societas Rosicruciana in 1865... (Ravenscroft, Spear of Destiny, p. 164-5). While the actual sexual perversions which were practiced are too offensive to share, the results are not. Author Revenscroft stated that "indulgence in the most sadistic rituals awakened penetrating vision into the workings of Evil Intelligences and bestowed phenomenal magical powers." (Ibid. p. 167). Ravenscroft records its effect upon Hitler, "...sexual perversion took a central place in life...a monstrous sexual perversion was the very core of his whole existence, the source of his mediumistic and clairvoyant powers, and the motivation behind every act through which he reaped a sadistic vengeance on humanity." Eckart's final act was to initiate Hitler into "a monstrous sadistic magic ritual...after which he was sexually impotent. Hitler's impotency had a deep psychological foundation.
