Yemen wants Guantanamo inmates repatriated
Big News Network.com Monday 7th February, 2005 (UPI)

Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Kurbi has reiterated calls on the United States to repatriate Yemeni prisoners held at its base in Guantanamo, Cuba.

We want the U.S. government to implement international law and hand over to the Yemeni government its nationals held in Guantanamo and Afghanistan in order to be tried at home, Kurbi said, commenting to the press Monday. <snip>

2. Fair question. The correct answer is "I'm not sure."
Some of their stuff is pablum; some is standard headlines; some (like the top of the current thread) is stuff that never seems to get picked up elsewhere. Since their typography is usually a bit off, I prefer to use a difference source whenever possible; since I couldn't find another copy of this story, I went ahead with BNN.

Here's a "review" of BNN; make of it what you will. (I must admit I don't find entirely convincing.)

A very good news source that effectively gathers a wide range of stories from across the globe.
This is another news website that is nothing more than a large collection of articles and stories collated from other sources. However, it shouldn't be dismissed merely as a listings site. The sheer number of links it possesses is remarkable, and the diversity of publications it draws from is massive. Not only providing world news from across the globe, it has a subsection dealing specifically with separate countries that utilises many domestic newspapers. A superb way to digest a wealth of news.
