Associated Press

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A car bomb exploded in central Baghdad on Thursday, killing at least four people, police and witnesses said.

... A police officer at the scene said the car exploded at Tahrir Square, a commercial area in the heart of the city, and seemed to target a U.S. military patrol that was passing through the area.

The officer and several witnesses said at least four people were killed. It wasn't clear if there were any American casualties.

2. Yes, the election was supposed to stop this
but the handing over the government last June was also supposed to alleviate tensions/deaths.

Bush has been 100% wrong all the way down the line concerning Iraq. But you won't hear a whisper of it by the right-wing press/blogs as they do nothing to stop the sending of our kids to die there nor do nothing to prevent the loss of innocent Iraqi life.

I check www.icasualties.org for what is really happening.

3. * is wrong on Iraq and everything else including SS.
I don't trust these bastards. They have rightly concluded that the majority of Americans are stupid or ortherwise too involved in their day to day tasks to be informed. Lord knows the MSM is not going to tell them the truth.

4. Many choose to remain ignorant
rather than taking accountability for their vote and its consequences.

5. As Bush would say...
"Progress is being made...this is more proof that the terrorists are growing more desperate."

I'm sorry but the myopia and all the delusions of the FMR cease to amaze me anymore.
