Howard Dean Sets Stage to Lead Democrats
Howard Dean Sets Stage to Lead Democrats

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Howard Dean is promising Democrats he will rebuild the state parties, take the offensive against Republicans and do a better job of explaining the party's positions on the issues.
..........
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, not always a Dean supporter, said Friday: ``Tomorrow we will elect a great Democrat as chairman of the party. He has used the power of technology, the force of his personality and the depth of his ideals to bring new people into the party.''
........
Democrats are not pro-abortion, but ``we are the party in favor of allowing women to make up their own minds about their health care,'' Dean, a physician, said.
..........
``We are the party of moral values,'' Dean said. ``There is nothing moral about cutting 300 million dollars that is used to feed starving children.''

1. Go Howard
Rock the boat, I want you to turn it over. We need to dump the people like Al From and Sen. DINO Feinstein. And that will never happen unless we make them sea sick. Rock the boat Howard. Clean up the party, force Lieberman and his ilk to form the Dixiecrats of the 21st century. I truly am hoping for a change and I think Dr. Dean is the one to do it in a positive way.
