By CONNIE GUGLIELMO

Not only will Carly Fiorina get $21.4 million in severance after being ousted as chief executive of Hewlett-Packard Co., she'll keep her computer.

Hewlett-Packard, the No. 2 maker of personal computers, will offer its technical support to Fiorina for three months, put $50,000 towards financial counseling and maintain her home security for a year, according to a filing Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

1. Why is it repukes love people that destroy companies?
I just don't get it. I thought they were about making money. Instead, they reward the person who destroyed Compaq and has probably sunk HP unless things change.

4. Old news. Her rape and run was a foregone conclusion.
Anyone who didn't realize this when the Hewlett son threw himself on his sword opposing her and the board's ill-advised moves were already beyond hope. First and foremost, the male-engineering culture at HP was guaranteed to be about as accepting of her as oil is of water.

The only thing I could ever conclude about the moves they've made since the Compaq acquisition and Agilent spin-off is that the Board has been deliberately pillaging HP in whatever fashion they could. Rape and pillage are longtime allies.

HP was a great company up until the mid-to-late 90s. Their extraordinarily responsible business policies and practices are legendary. No debt. No customer allowed to become more than 10% of their business. Salary reductions instead of layoffs. Steadfastly NOT a personality cult, even when the founders were still active. Their instrumentation products OWNED the quality-first market. Reliable and durable, they proved the maxim that "cheap is the most expensive you can buy." Their only weak spot was their sales force - not very well-managed and often ill-treated. But the HP name and product sold itself so they were often mere order-takers. HP was one of the key companies that the Japanese "went to school on" during the 50's and 60's. HP was innately Baldridge.

I never expected Carly to last as long as she has. The only way HP could've done worse is by taking ex-Maxtor CEO George Scalise. Now that one is a REAL nightmare on Helm Street. He's not even in the same universe as scruples.

5. She once said, "Americans have no God-given right to a job"
It was a couple years ago, but that's largely the thrust of her infamous statement. It was on the topic of things such as outsourcing.

11. A perfumed and sneering Gorgon...
...smiling while downsizing thousands on her way to wealth. She ravaged lives, cost HP billions. There were reports of HP employees dancing in the aisles last week.

It is important people here understand that the Democratic Party's corporatization has helped the likes of Fiorina to flourish. Without opposition in the form of economic justice for all Americans, these scum will continue to sell our future short. We can no longer afford GOP-lite politics.

8. I hope that the Board and Fiorina are sued by their shareholders
for waste of corporate assets. It's time to clean house at HP.

9. Typical American story of a conman(or woman) coming in with a
smile and promising the moon, robbing the gullible and walking away with the loot. Her grandiose promises were matched by her arrogance. If she had not walked away with all the ill gotten gains, I would have said no one deserved her fate better.
