Clinton has presidential messages removed from her Web site
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) E-mail messages urging Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton to run for president in 2004 or 2008 were removed Friday from her campaign Web site.

The original inclusion of the messages, by aides to the former first lady who controlled the site, had fueled speculation she might be considering jumping into the race for the 2004 Democratic nomination.

''We don't want anyone to be confused'' about her intentions, said Clinton spokesman Philippe Reines.
