ONE TASK FORCE LIBERTY SOLDIER KILLED, THREE WOUNDED BY IED

TIKRIT, IRAQ – One Task Force Liberty Soldier was killed and three wounded when an improvised explosive device struck a Coalition combat patrol near Baqubah at about 4:50 p.m. Feb. 14. The three wounded were taken to a Coalition Forces medical treatment facility.

The name of the deceased is being held pending notification of the next of kin.

Don't mean to offend anyone here, but I must have missed something. I thought it was Operation Iraqi Freedom. Are they rolling out the new product??

2. It must have been an accident...

Maybe an Iraqi dropped a rose on the road and a few hours later the convoy ran over it's thorns which caused its tires to deflate and crash. The Iraqi's wouldn't do this to us! Not after we have given them democracy!
