Matt Drudge appeared on the Hannity and Colmes show with his torch a' burnng for Chris Rock.
He objected to Rock's particular sense of humor for making jokes about Bush, abortion, and gays, and while calling it humor also cited it as social commentary.( Isn't that humor?)

Hannity: Did you talk to Chris Rock for this story. Did you get in touch with him?

Drudge: No, because there's simply enough out there.

When Colmes asked him if he was using his website to try and get Rock removed:

Drudge: Oh, I don't know....

Colmes: ..do you have an agenda?

Drudge: No, I don't...I..I..I...

There's a lot in this interview that I'm not commenting on. This is clearly an orchestrated move. I only hope that the Oscars and Rock don't cave in to this idiot and the pressure that he and his followers will try and apply.

because anyone who has heard him knows that he is very supportive of gay rights and his whole thing is showing what a hypocrite asshole Bush is.

He has been the go-boy for Republican propagandists since the Monica-gate scandal. Drudge's site was created exclusively for the purpose of posting off-the-record slime against Democrats or spin to favor Republicans. That's why Drudge got paid lots of cash from Scaife and other Republican sugar-daddies during the Monica scandal.

No self-respecting progressive, Democrat, or liberal should ever think of Drudge as anything but slime. Certainly not as "the media" and much less as "reliable."

And as you say, this self-hating homosexual seems hell bent on attacking and sliming any celebrity that favors gay rights. It is to laugh, really.
