MOSUL, Iraq - A car bomb exploded alongside a U.S. military convoy in northern Iraq (news - web sites) on Wednesday, witnesses said.


Several people were injured in the blast near Mosul's Yarmouk Square, witnesses said. At least one U.S. military vehicle was damaged in the blast.


Iraqi and American officials could not immediately be reached for comment

4. so much chaos we can't contain in Iraq
and now the MSM and the neocons are beating the drums for war in Syria. They won't be happy till our soldiers are dieing from the Himalayans to the Mediterranean.

5. Iraq is just SO yesterdays news -
didn't you get the memo?

Iraq will fade further and further out of news coverage just like afghanistan has, in the meantime our "war president" has to have a new evil bad guy to vanquish...

It looks like his advisors have realized that Iran is a country with a real military and we all know this "war president" likes his targets to be "softer" so they have decided to attack an easier target - Syria.
