Nevada Young Republican convention head accused of embezzlement
LAS VEGAS The chairman of the upcoming Young Republican National Convention in Las Vegas has been removed and accused of embezzling registration fees.

A criminal complaint filed (Monday) with Reno police alleges Nathan Taylor used 25-thousand dollars in convention money to pay bar tabs, personal loans and credit card debts.
...
The 29-year-old says he spent the money promoting the convention.

It's scheduled July sixth through 10th at the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino.

Taylor worked as an intern in Governor Kenny Guinn's office during the 2003 Legislature. He has also worked for former Republican state Senator Mark James and at Las Vegas City Hall for then-City Councilman Michael McDonald.

3. Shouldn't have stolen from PARTY Members
Edited on Wed Feb-16-05 06:55 PM by tom_paine
Busheviks are excused almost any crime, provided they are committing them against "Enemies of the State" (anyone who dares criticize the Imperial Family).

Now, I understand this Young Bushevik had urges he couldn;t control. Whatever vote fraud in 2000, 2002, and 2004 and other dirty tricks probably swelled his head considerably.

But he had the Power of THE PARTY behind him then, and he was committing crimes against Enemies of the State, which is OK.

Once he stole from PARTY Members, he lost his PARTY protection and he might now as well BE an Enemy of the State like those he reviles.

One does wonder, though, to what degree the Kinder and Gentler Nazis will forgive him. After all, he showed the "right" enterpenurial spirit, so perhaps they think he is salvagable, but must learn to do his stealing from Enemies of the State, not PARTY Members.

Gotta love the Republican's and their 'moral values'.

Whatever happened to the cheats who threw away all the Democratic registrations in NV anyway? Did anyone go to prison yet?
