Two U.S. soldiers killed in northern Iraq attacks

MOSUL, Iraq, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Two U.S. soldiers were killed in separate attacks in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, the U.S. military said on Friday.

A car bomb exploded next to a U.S. army patrol on Thursday, killing one soldier and wounding three, the military said in a statement. In a second attack on Thursday, a soldier was shot dead in an exchange of fire with guerrillas.

This is just yet another example of a failed Iraq policy and illustrates the need to withdraw all troops from Iraq immediately.

3. You know there are days when I scour our local piece of trash rag for

a mention of the latest casualties, and I don't find a damn thing. Of course out here in the sticks I suppose the Weird Harold could be a little behind, or maybe the article was just so small I missed it. But I highly doubt it.

Yesterday's paper made a BIG DEAL out of the latest terror alerts, no word about people telling the admin to stuff it, it wasn't believable anymore.
