Diplomat held over plane incident
BBC
A British diplomat was arrested on suspicion of being drunk on an aircraft after a disturbance on board a flight from Bangkok.

Defence attache Colonel Peter Roberts, who is based in the Thai capital, was arrested at Heathrow airport, in west London, on Thursday evening.

Police said a 50-year-old man was bailed on Friday until 3 March.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) confirmed it was Colonel Roberts who spent the night at a west London police station.
