Russia Defies Washington over Iran Nuclear Program & Isolation of Syria
http://www.periodico26.cu/english_new/world/russia200205.htm

Moscow, February 19 (RHC)-The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, has directly contradicted the US Bush administration's contention that Iran is making nuclear weapons.

Warmly welcoming the Iranian head of national security, Hassan Rohani, the Russian leader also said that he would be visiting Iran less than a week before a scheduled summit with George W Bush.

Not only has Russia decided to stand up to Washington's recent bullying of Iran, say observers, but Moscow is also planning to sign a deal with Teheran that would agree to the delivery of nuclear fuel to a Russian built reactor which could be operational as early as next year. Russia will also train Iranian scientists in nuclear reactor technology.

Russia intends to take back spent nuclear fuel after 10 years which, say US government experts, would give Iran time to convert it into bomb material. Iran has insisted that the White House is looking for a new enemy to keep up the supposed terrorist threat pressure on its own population, and that it has never intended to make such weapons. It seeks to deal with a future energy crisis by tapping into nuclear energy as early as possible, say Iranian authorities.

1. Hey, Russia has WMD, right?
And oil? And diamonds?
And the Al-Qaeda terrorists in Chechnya, right? And Putin is becoming a dictator and tyrant, yes?

Then the invasion starts tomorrow!

No, wait, these guys have a strong military and can fight back.

Maybe not, then.
