"Al-Zawahri: End attacks on Islam"-- Al Jazeera
Al-Zawahri: End attacks on Islam

Monday 21 February 2005, 1:51 Makka Time, 22:51 GMT

Al-Qaida's number two has said governments cannot stop its attacks and that the West's security depends on respect for Islam and an end to aggression against Muslims. Ayman al-Zawahri said in a videotape broadcast by Aljazeera on Sunday that the "new Crusader campaign" will end in defeat as others had in the past.

Al-Zawahri, wearing a white turban and seated with a machinegun next to him, said his comments came three years after the first prisoners were taken from Afghanistan to the US naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. "If you Western nations believe that these cartoon governments will protect you from our responses, then you are deluded. Your real security lies in cooperating with the Islamic nation on the basis of respect and ending aggression," al-Zawahri said.

"Your new Crusader campaign will end, God willing, in defeat as did those that preceded it but after the deaths of tens of thousands, the destruction of your economy and exposing you in the pages of history," he added.

In Washington, a US intelligence source said it was too early to make a determination on the tape's authenticity, adding: "We will certainly be looking very closely at it."

4. No
Funny thing is this little ghost called Zarqawi who inherited the throne of evil from Bin Laden is most likely dead. Or doesn't even exist.

Tell me why Zarqawi is not even on the FBI's Ten most wanted terrorist list? Most likely because they don't think he's alive or even exists.

On June 22 Zarqawi mentioned how angry he gets when he sees those photos of the Iraqi women in Abu Ghraib being forced to drink semen from a glass.

Nobody but US intelligence and US military have seen those photos.

Psyops. Most likely Israeli Mossad.

2. Al-Zawahri needs killin'
But I don't know what I am more afraid of... another terrorist attack or the kind of stuff Bush and Co. will do in reaction to it. I worry that, if another attack happens (God forbid), the Bush gang will see their chance to establish authoritarianism -- and they'll take it.

Am I being paranoid here?
