Three U.S. soldiers killed during medical evacuation
http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/BAK162109.htm

BAGHDAD, Feb 21 (Reuters) - Three U.S. soldiers were killed and eight wounded on Monday when a roadside bomb detonated near a helicopter as it was carrying out a medical evacuation, the U.S. military said.

The medical team was sent by helicopter to attend to a soldier injured in a vehicle accident in a southwestern neighbourhood of Baghdad when the explosion went off, the U.S. military said in a statement.

It gave no further details.

3. Strange that they would have a bomb planted ...
exactly where there was a vehicle "accident." I suspect a first bomb hit the vehicle and a second bomb had been planted specifically to target the responders.

Whatever the case, RIP Soldiers.

4. Let's see we've got "drug-related" deaths and that's illegal--how
about making "war related" deaths illegal?

How would that be?

8. Viet Cong tactics
Punji pits were 'popular' because the wounded person required the life-saving assistance of at least two other grunts. They'd make a small-scale attack to create wounded and then ambush the rescuers. It doesn't take long for these guerrilla tactics to be seen in such wars. I'd say this confirms the contention that Command, Communications, and Control (C3) is gaining maturity in Iraq's insurgency/freedom-fighters, since it necessitates something a little more than simple Fabian tactics.

11. He could care less
WTF does Bush care? He is already bored with Iraq and the so-called press and American public will just let him go on to bigger and better wars and not say a thing.

12. It's not boredom. It's the Narcissistic Supply.
He's a pathological narcissist and feeds upon reaction. But like an adrenaline addict or an ADD sufferer, it only gives him that 'supply' at the beginning. These things have a 'half-life' for a pathological narcissist. He's on to another "look at me, kids" tour ... where he feeds on his sycophantically-scripted pseudo-events.

or Dickhead Cheney's or his drunken, slutty daughters or airheaded wife. Sure, he'd do it again. Alcoholics just trade one addiction for another. This is where he gets his high now.
