5. Good idea I got from Buzzflash news item

I get news bulletins from buzzflash and this morning there is an article in the Detroit Free Press that says that Gannon was just a some guy representing a no-name news organization, so does that mean that every blogger in the country can now have a white house press pass, get ready for the applications.

I thought, wow what a great idea, all the bloggers should try to do exactly that and publish online the responses they get from the white house staff!

After declaring that he wouldn't talk to the press any more, he certainly seems to be doing a lot of talking. The more he parades himself out in front of the cameras to stroke his own ego, the more scrutiny he's going to recieve, and the more questions about who his contact in the white house was are going to be raised. This guy is going to single-handedly keep the scandal going.

on how to make money off this. Repent publically, say you are Christian born again and ask for forgiveness. There you have it, you are on your way to raking in lots o bucks thereafter. He changed horses in the middle of the stream (probably changed lawyers since the first one probably told him to shut up, and hired a marketing expert who probably told him to make lemonade out of lemons) It worked for Chuck Colson, it worked for Liddy and it worked for Oliver North and a host of others-- I don't remember if Liddy or North sliming bornagainess (it wasn't yet discovered to be the out all and the end all of criminal activity) being born again,--the use of arrogance and religion to forgive you, beats any admission of humility and acknowledgement of wrong doing in the press room of the White House.

I think the Dems in congress should go after this big time, with vigor otherwise they will enable another right wing nutcase with a very sleazy past to become a hero to the right wing.

Once he wakes up and recognizes he's just being used as a Republican tool. (No pun intended--really!) The Republicans will play him for as long as it's politically expedient and then he'll be cast off as quickly and as casually as a condom in the bushes behind the high school. (Pun intended that time.) Then he'll feel hurt and misused.

However, I'm not all that hopeful he'll actually come to our side when that happens, especially how we've villified him and (from his prspective) exposed his private life. So as much as I'd like to think he'd come over to our side, in truth I see more of an anarchy/unibomber future for him. :(
