US planes attack targets in Mosul

BAGHDAD, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- US warplanes shelled suspected targets in the city of Mosul in northern Iraq, witnesses told KUNA on Friday.

Two men inside a passing car were killed in a section of Mosul as US helicopters targeted the car, said the witnesses, who added that back-up warplanes were seen hovering round the area for several hours where the suspect car was destroyed. (end) mhg.
