MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin said that technical strengthening of the Russian army's rapid reaction units and supplying them with new, qualified servicemen is a priority task.

Meeting with senior military officers in the Kremlin on Monday, Putin said the rapid reaction units "should be the most mobile component of the armed forces."
