Protests turns violent in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A crowd of angry, unemployed Iraqis threw rocks and set at least two police vehicles on fire Wednesday when they were turned away from a Baghdad police station, where they had hoped to apply for jobs.

Some of the estimated 300 job seekers told CNN's Harris Whitbeck that they arrived at the police precinct to fill out application forms but were asked for bribes and ordered away from the station.

But hey Fox News said Bruce Willis was standing up for the troops in Iraq where he had a "heartwarming visit" in that country that is progressing wonderfully. While channel surfing I actually heard that. :puke:

1. BRUCE WILLIS ON CRACK COCAINE OR LSD
I just watched the "riot" on Reuters TV live, and also a tape of the woman killed in the bombing (the GI)

If that stuff is "heartwarming" then "Black is White"

Look at it for yourselves, people are screaming and the stretcher bearers are calling someone MOTHERFUCKERS.

It is unreal--- but "HEARTWARMING" it ain't!!!!

3. What really astounds me...
is that we could solve a lot of problems by giving the job of restoring Iraq's infastructure to Iraquis. They know how to rebuild their own country, it would give them much needed employment, and save U.S. taxpayers billions. We would still foot the bill, but the cost would be a lot less.

Nah...guess that wouldn't work; Cheney and his Halliburton cronies aren't rich enough yet.

4. Progressing wonderfully ?
Willis has joined those dippy politicians who become 'experts' on Iraq after a well-protected two day visit to Baghdad.
