Attorney General Is Closely Linked to Inquiry Figures
Now the NY Times is highlighting Ashcroft's links to those he presumes to investigate: http://www.nytimes.com/2003/10/02/politics/02ASHC.html.

"Deep political ties between top White House aides and Attorney General John Ashcroft have put him into a delicate position as the Justice Department begins a full investigation into whether administration officials illegally disclosed the name of an undercover C.I.A. officer."

"Karl Rove, President Bush's top political adviser, whose possible role in the case has raised questions, was a paid consultant to three of Mr. Ashcroft's campaigns in Missouri, twice for governor and for United States senator, in the 1980's and 1990's, an associate of Mr. Rove said on Wednesday."

Much more.

Hey, Ashcroft, can you spell R-E-C-U-S-E?

1. Can we say Independent or special Counsel ?- Hatch/Hyde/Lott did!
Excerpt:
"Given the obvious conflict of interest, however, it should be an independent counsel,
and not you, who exercises such discretion."
-- Orrin Hatch (R-Kinky Sex) to Janet Reno

"The preliminary investigation of Gore represents progress, however slight. Appointment of an
independent counsel to investigate both the president and the vice president is inevitable.
The longer her delay in doing this, the longer it will take to get answers the American people deserve."
-- Henry Hyde, with another man's wife sitting on his lap

"At some point questions must be answered, if only to build confidence that a rigorous investigation
is underway and that Justice isn't merely circling the wagons to defend the White House."
-- Trent Lott (R-Racist Pig)

The second man under Ashcroft is a Skull & Bones classmate of George. This is the man who will oversee the investigation of the leak. Better check it out.

3. this smells more like watergate all the time.
....when watergate began to heat up, nixon decided to jettison John Mitchell (former attorney general, the nation's highest law enforcement officer and all that) on the advice of Haldeman and Erlichman (who seem to be Rove's spiritual antecedent), thinking that if they gave up the "big enchilada" that would satiate the ravenous wolves of the press and the partisan democrats.
didn't quite work out then, either.
They're all going down. 'resign in disgrace' is the operative phrase...

He's a thug and a war criminal, his treatment of the POW's at Guantanamo is in itself a war crime.

Bound, gagged, hooded, chained like animals, wearing bizarre costumes etc.
