Blast at Home in Afghanistan Kills 7
An explosive device exploded Friday in a home near a U.S. military facility, killing seven people and wounding six others, residents said.
The device exploded in the village of Qulai Gulai near Bagram Air Base, north of the capital, Kabul, when people in the home were handling it, villager Mohammed Nazeer said. He and others said seven people were killed.

U.S. military spokesman Col. Rodney Davis said the blast was being investigated in cooperation with Afghan authorities, who declined to give any details.
