Bush boosts family values (Jeb)

2003 GOVERNOR'S FAITH AND COMMUNITY CONFERENCE
Bush boosts family values
One part of Gov. Bush's faith-based initiative is a controversial survey that asks about sex before marriage.

Gov. Jeb Bush gave his statewide initiative to strengthen families a major boost Friday during a prayer breakfast and conference in Davie.

(snip) ''This state is a wonderful state, but all across our state, in the most affluent places as well as the pockets of poverty that exist, there is a lot of suffering,'' Bush said.

``If we expect government to be the sole source of solving that problem, then we'll keep seeing more and more pain. More and more loneliness.'' (snip)

Bush, who has made strengthening families one of three main themes of his second term, said he believes that giving parents skills to build strong families reduces the need for government services. As a result, it should drive down the size of government in Florida, Bush said.

''Imagine what it would be like if we had strong family life as the organizing principle of our state,'' Bush said. ``We would be able to empty out the buildings in Tallahassee. Most of the demands placed on government are related to the fact that we don't have strong, wholesome families.'' (snip/...)

8. I forgot about the stealing thing. Gee, it was only
about $15,000 in taxes for goods being brought into the country. And as I remember, they more or less hung the daughter out to dry (no pun intended). Yep, outstanding family values.

11. And he won't get strong families until corporations start paying
daddies and mommies enough money to make a living in 8 hours so they can go home to spend time with their kids. Moron Bushes. They have absolutely no sociological perspective.

12. Jeb's incurable penchant for fraud and larceny
International Medical Corporation- Medicaid fraud- $120,000,000.00
Destin Country Club Land Development fraud- $150,000,000.00
State Pension Fund purchase of worthless Enron stock- $300,000,000.00

The man is an inexhaustable fountain of fraud and larceny. Of course, his schemes to corrupt Florida's election system statewide ruined the entire nation.
