LOCAL PEACE GROUP INFILTRATED BY GOVERNMENT AGENT

Peace Fresno was infiltrated by an agent working for the Fresno Sheriff’s Department. Aaron Kilner, known by Peace Fresno activists as Aaron Stokes, attended several Peace Fresno meetings. Peace Fresno activist Nicholas DeGraff remembers him taking voluminous notes and several members say they saw him at peace vilgils held at Shaw and Blackstone. He was also on the bus local anti-globalization activists took to attend the WTO ministerial-level conference on Agricultural Science and Technology demonstration in Sacramento in June 2003.

Aaron Kilner died in a motorcycle accident on August 30, 2003. In his obituary in The Fresno Bee he was identified as a member of the Fresno County Sheriff’s department. The obituary went on to say that he was “assigned to the anti-terrorist team.” Local activists believe that this “anti-terrorist team” is, in fact, the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) that has recently been formed in this area.. When members of Peace Fresno saw the picture and read of Kilner’s association with law enforcement they began piecing the story together.

Glad to see this post up here. This type of thing has been going on for years. It won't stop until citizens wake up and get tired of being spied on, and preyed upon by the guys whose salaries WE PAY. Good to see it's at least being aired out when it happens.

Just think about the possibilities HERE to gather "intelligence" and work the covert magic (not to mention the elections coming up etc.)

16. In my few posts, I wonder if I will have somebody from the gov't

spying on me. I have been less than kind to this administration and all of the bozo's that run it. I wonder what it takes to be considered dangerous and worthy of investigation from the DOJ? Peace Groups ought to sue disruptors like this. For one thing, it is a waste of government resources to be spying on Peace Groups. They aren't terrorists by any stretch of the imagination.

Note that he 'took voluminous notes'. Would be good to keep an eye on people doing that at Peace Group meetings.

agent. He'd march with us, get info on our plans, etc. He was part of Rizzo's police squad. Of course, he was one of the ones we KNEW about. There were plenty more, I'm sure, we didn't know about.

21. Not to plug a controversial site, but...

I have seen repeated warnings about government infiltrators into the peace movement at whatreallyhappened.com - usually, according to this site, these infiltrators, aside from keeping tabs on the groups activities and plans (and members) wait for opportune times to do outrageous things that will reflect badly on the peace group and movement.

I know there are duers who think this site (wrh) is crap, but the guy has warned about this type of thing for at least a year, that I can vouch for.

And he's been right about a LOT of things...
