NYT: White House to Overhaul Iraq and Afghan Missions

See

"The White House has ordered a major reorganization of American efforts to quell violence in Iraq and Afghanistan and to speed the reconstruction of both countries, according to senior administration officials.

The new effort includes the creation of an "Iraq Stabilization Group," which will be run by the national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice. The creation of the group appears to be part of an effort to assert more direct White House control over how Washington coordinates its efforts to fight terrorism, develop political structures and encourage economic development in the two countries."

http://www.nytimes.com/2003/10/06/international/06PREX.html?hp

The good news: people in the White House FINALLY realize that what's going on in Iraq is bad.

The bad news: like the good MBA-CEO that he is, Chimp has decided to "solve" the problem by reorganizing the bureaucracy in charge, and giving more power to one of the doofuses who got us into this mess in the first place (Rice).

If you've ever worked for a corporation, you KNOW how this will turn out. It won't work. At least for very long. Reorganization to fix a failed policy is just an excuse...unless the policy itself changes, the reorg won't do much.

This is like something out of Dilbert. We have the Pointy-Haired President.

Yes, but are our processes in Iraq ISO 9000 compliant? Maybe that's the problem!

And putting the Activities Director in charge of navigation?

So tell me, folks, is there any more incompentent ninny in this entire totally incompetent administration than Condosleeza?

13. How do you "lay off" unemployed desperate people?
You make them disappear.

Dear Condi is being charged with the mass grave assignment.

There was NEVER any other way to do it. NEVER any other way to reorganize or "pacify" the Middle East except by mass murder.

Either Condi fails, or Condi sticks the problem in the ground.

And then fails.

That is, the first thing you do is hire somebody to blame it on when it fucks up.

Meaning: Rice is toast. She is being set up to take a fall. Watch it unfold.

Is going to stand for:

A) A woman
B) A BLACK woman

for veep? If she's on the ticket, it will be Rove's "Hail Mary." OTOH, "Toasty Dick" makes quite the mental picture.

10. She must not have anything to do.
As the National Security Advisor, you'd think she has enough cake on her plate. Weren't she and Powell charged with solving the Israeli/Palestinian crisis? We know how that's going. Now she gets to be in charge of converting both Afghanistan AND Iraq.

Oh yeah, like that'll do a lot of good. Especially if CONdi runs it. Actually, sounds like a good thing. Anything she's in charge of will end up an abysmal failure, just like everything else she's touched. Another fabulous opportunity to drop the ball, CONdi.

35. All Right, Time To Put That Expertise In Obsolete Kremlinology To Work
Just so you know, according to the American Historical Review, December 1985, Rice “frequently does not sift facts from propaganda and valid information from disinformation or misinformation,” she “passes judgments and expresses opinions without adequate knowledge of the facts” and her “writing abounds with meaningless phrases.” (p. 1236)

"Yesterday, Big Brother renamed the "Office of Popular Enlightenment" to the MINISTRY of Popular Enlightenment because PR studies showed that 'Ministry' has a more positive q1-rating with warm and fuzzy feelings generated by it's religious connotations."

More bullshit from Bushevik Totalitarians.
