3. GOP must need that "three hundred million" for Campaigning.
Imagine what America could do with three hundred million let alone "eighty seven thousand million."

2. I still wonder how much pork is in there.
It is still a pretty hefty figure.

4. The New Republican Pork
It's the new white meat.

Basically, cut the "fat" out of domestic programs and then make war on defenseless countries. Afterwards, reward non-competitive contracts to your oil buds and former employers.

Really, this is war profiteering on a scale we've never witnessed....but no story there for our SCLM.

7. You would think so but actually Network news and even cable news shows
Have been losing audience drastically. Some blame it on the internet some say it is bias, but whatever, war hasn't been the cash cow some thought it would be.

8. couple of my favorites
are $400 million for 2 4,000 bed prisons - 50,000 for each bed?? steep price compared to about $7 - 10K for the USA

$100 million for witness protection program - 24 million Iraqis - how many millionaires are we going to make?

$1 Billion for training police when 2 countries have offered to do it for free

$900 million to import oil into Iraq

$2 billion to make an Iraqi army - duh - didn't we just get rid of theirs?

12. Garbage trucks were the only thing in the budget that made any sense.
And reasonably priced at $50,000. Probably if they were $500,000 per, they would have sailed through.....

13. Actually depending on accessories, from $150,000 to 250,000
would be my guess. Stock flatbed class 3 cost about $50,000. Having worked on them 10 years ago they were about $150,000 for a new one.

Really all they need is one, just take it and load * with all the rest of them fraudulent cronny capitalists and dump them out at the toxic landfill, problem solved and everybody gets the win-win

14. And who's gonna be doing all the building and installing?
Are we gonna employ the millions of now-jobless Iraqis who have the skills, experience and motivation to do the work? HELL NO!!! We're gonna have Halliburton and friends build it at 10X the price it would cost the local Iraqi companies to build.

I grew up on a hog farm, and boy do I smell pork right now. Actually, it smells like pigsh*t.
