Big March in Washington Heights Against DR-CAFTA
As opposition to CAFTA mounts in the U.S. Congress, hundreds of people came out to the streets of upper Manhattan on Saturday to say NO to the DR-CAFTA free trade agreement. The marchers, many from the Washington Heights area, largely defied the sterotype of young, white anti-globalization protesters. <snip>

i mean it is just as good as any but was there something going on there?

2. CAFTA includes Central America and Dominican Republic

Washington Heights is a part of upper Manhattan with a majority Dominican population.
