Two of Zarqawi's aides arrested
ARBIL, June 8 (KUNA) -- Two aides of terrorist leader Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi have been arrested, said director of the Kurdish National Alliance operations' center in Mosul Asu Mamand.

---

He went on to say that a large amount of weapons, equipment and documents were seized at their hideout, as well as a quantity of chemicals used in the manufacture of banned weapons.

No information were disclosed on when, where or how the two aides were arrested.

Meanwhile, a statement issued by the US forces said that joint Iraqi-US operations are ongoing in the southwestern part of the province of Niyouni, adding that these come as part of some 30 military joint and independent operations in different parts of Iraq.

6. Right and they were caught in one of his thousand or so "safe houses"
that we either "kick down the door" or bomb into oblivion. Gee, not only does "that man" (our Bogey man) get around Iraq but he must have a whole platoon of Lieutenants and XOs. Damn, he's a Wiley A-Rab! :sarcasm:

9. Makes perfect sense...
First they captured the current #3 guy. This means the #4 guy moved up a slot. Damn if he wasn't the next one caught. There is thus an unlimited number of #3 guys to catch.

10. No.2 and No.3 again,No doubt . Ha,Ha,ha
Edited on Wed Jun-08-05 11:31 AM by abb9
Ha,Ha,ha,These guys slay me. Bushco and his cabal taught them well.
Everyone they catch is either a no. 1,2 or 3 Guy,and all are very important.
The so called terrorist org, should have been crippled by now, counting all the top 1 2 and 3 guys they have caught.
Maybe 1 2 and 3 are the only numbers they compute.

It makes it seems like they are really making progress, meanwhile it is the opposite.

The more 1,2,and 3 guys they catch, the more the 1,2,and 3 guys multiply.
It is getting kind of tired now.

12. Must have been a lot of US Casualties lately
That's when they usually trot out new "Zarqawi Aides" to arrest, isn't it?
Front page headline TWO ZARQAWI AIDES ARRESTED
Page three: US Convoy Attacked Three Marines Killed

It's just as well for Bush that Zarqawi has so many aides, he'll be able to drag this out a long time.

13. Are they sure they're his "Aides" and not his "Lieutenants" like before
What?
--- does "Z-man" have a corporate or a government office?

With staff and departments?

And uniforms?

And ranks?

Maybe Z-Man is actually a "government" and, with all these press releases, confidence is now building that we can overthrow his "regime" in the U.S. tradition.

How stupid do they think we are?

How US fuelled myth of Zarqawi the mastermind

By Adrian Blomfield outside Fallujah
(Filed: 04/10/2004)

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the terrorist leader believed to be responsible for the abduction of Kenneth Bigley, is 'more myth than man', according to American military intelligence agents in Iraq.

Several sources said the importance of Zarqawi, blamed for many of the most spectacular acts of violence in Iraq, has been exaggerated by flawed intelligence and the Bush administration's desire to find "a villain" for the post-invasion mayhem.

US military intelligence agents in Iraq have revealed a series of botched and often tawdry dealings with unreliable sources who, in the words of one source, "told us what we wanted to hear".

"We were basically paying up to $10,000 a time to opportunists, criminals and chancers who passed off fiction and supposition about Zarqawi as cast-iron fact, making him out as the linchpin of just about every attack in Iraq," the agent said.
