Death toll increases in Irbil's explosion

IRBIL, June 20 (KUNA) -- Casualty toll of today's Irbil explosion has increased to over 100, where 13 people were reported dead and other 103 were severly injured in a suicide attack that targeted a training center behind a police station in Irbil on Monday.

Irbil Governor Nozad Hadi said the attack was executed by a suicide bomber who blew up the car he was driving this morning in Irbil at 7:40 a.m. local time.

On his part, Health Minister in Kurdistan region Jamal Abdel-Hamid said the wounded were taken to four hospitals in Irbil.
