US forces pull out of Iraqi town after repeated attack: local official

(AFP) Oct 09, 2003
HUWAIJAH, Iraq, Oct 9 (AF) - US forces Thursday withdrew from the town of Huwaijah, 80 kilometres (50 miles) north-east of Baghdad, due to repeated guerrilla attacks against them, a local official told AFP...

According to him (Atallah Iskandar Al-Juburi, a municipal council member), the redeployment was due to "the intensity of anti-American attacks by supporters of deposed president Saddam Hussein or extremist Islamist movements."

1. A beaten dog will eventually bite its master.
Sure, all those repeated attacks were just from ex-Saddam lovers.

5. Wake up bif ...
you're dreaming.

You can have a perpetual war when you pull all of your troops out. Besides, we havn't come close to stealing all of their oil. When the taps run dry, you can expect a complete withdrawl.

Cheers
