MPs fight for Arar probe

The allegation came as opposition MPs continued to press for an investigation into the case Maher Arar, a Syrian-born Canadian citizen who was seized in New York on Sept. 26, 2002, while coming home to Ottawa from Tunisia. He was deported to Syria and kept there in prison for a year before being released last weekend.
