MOSUL, Iraq, July 7 (Reuters) - Heavy mortar strikes targeting the local government headquarters in Iraq's northern city of Mosul hit nearby shops, killing at least three people and wounding 46 people, hospital officials said on Thursday.

5. why would they hold saddam to blame
there were no bombings in Iraq before the US occupied it. More Iraqis have died under Bush's occupation than in the last 10 years under saddam.

10. Saddam probably has less cupability, as you state. Plus sanctions...
that took upwards of 1/2 million Iraqi children & women & men.
Blame Bush, please. Only Bush's neocons, at this point, can help the situation in Iraq. Unless we revolt here in the U.S.

But maybe instead of a war, he'd rather have leaders who give a shit about him, and who fight POVERTY, HUNGER and FRUSTRATION with schools and hospitals and medicine and other peaceful pursuits?

If this is "winning hearts and minds" I would rather be losing...
