His take was that she was a trashy groupie (unfortunately, Big Dog seemed pretty eager to take on groupies) who later married a Clinton-hater. When he found out she's had a one-timer with Clinton, he went ballistic, so she had to claim it was "harrassment."

Hubby then got in touch with the Arkansas Project people, who had already been trying every dirty trick they could think of to cause trouble for Clinton. Paula's story was obviously a crock of sh*t, but they coached her and cleaned her up and put her in the limelight.

It seems to me the poor girl never got over her crush on Big Dog. She's still obsessed with him. She showed up at an appearance he made in Arkansas several years back. Her lawsuit claimed all sorts of emotional trauma, but if he traumatized her so much why is she still stalking him?

...Conason and Lyons, you would know that her claim was VERY suspect. In her sworn testimony Jones claimed to have met Clinton in the hotel in Little Rock at a specific time of day. She clearly lied. Clinton was actually in the Governor's mansion doing his job as governor, something that was proven by logs and eyewitness accounts of seeing Clinton in the mansion at the time she claimed to have been with him at the hotel.

I'm still amazed after all that we learned about the "Arkansas Project" that anyone would continue to believe anything that Jones has to say.
