U.S. says willing to be flexible in N.Korea talks this time
http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N10530742.htm

PHUKET, Thailand, July 10 (Reuters) - The United States is willing to show flexibility on its proposal for resolving a nuclear weapons impasse with North Korea if Pyongyang responds constructively when talks resume this month after a one-year delay, U.S. officials said.

Pyongyang has faulted the June 2004 proposal for demanding that the reclusive communist state take significant steps, like disclosing all its nuclear programs, before Washington takes any action.

"It was a proposal, not a demand," one senior U.S. official travelling with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in Asia said en route to Phuket from Beijing on Sunday night. snip

China and South Korea have urged Washington to show more diplomatic flexibility.

I think flexible in diplomatic terms means more generous.

2. Now that they have got the bomb ....
Way to fucking go W! Under Clinton the N. Koreans met w/ Bill Richardson
in the Philippines and they would tell him how bad the US was for 2 days
and then he would ask how much rice, corn, and wheat would it take for them
not to build a bomb ...... he would call the stat dept, they would call Ag dept
American farmers got paid, koreans did not starve to death and no bombs made ....

Under * no talks = Korean A bomb Mission accomplished
