Gunmen kill four human rights activists in Baghdad
BAGHDAD (AP) — Armed men stormed a house in Baghdad on Tuesday, killing four Iraqi human rights activists and wounding another, a member of the group said.
The victims belonged to the local International Organization for Human Rights and were shot by several men at their office in the western neighborhood of Jamaa, their colleague Jamal Ibrahim said.

"As soon as we entered the office, we saw four dead bodies," Ibrahim said. "A fifth person was wounded and the neighbors rescued him." He was taken to hospital.

Shortly after the shooting, Iraqi police and U.S. troops rushed to the area and checked the one-story house that served as the group's office.

1. sounds familiar
"They cut down people like they cut down trees --
Chop off its head so it will stay on its knees --
The forest shrinks but the earth remains
Slash and burn and it grows again
Down where the death squad lives." - Bruce Cockburn

8. Just need to change the names of the places
and this one would be current again too. Same people, different day. When will it ever end?

Bruce Cockburn - If I Had A Rocket Launcher

Here comes the helicopter -- second time today
Everybody scatters and hopes it goes away
How many kids they've murdered only God can say
If I had a rocket launcher...I'd make somebody pay

I don't believe in guarded borders and I don't believe in hate
I don't believe in generals or their stinking torture states
And when I talk with the survivors of things too sickening to relate
If I had a rocket launcher...I would retaliate

On the Rio Lacantun, one hundred thousand wait
To fall down from starvation -- or some less humane fate
Cry for guatemala, with a corpse in every gate
If I had a rocket launcher...I would not hesitate

I want to raise every voice -- at least I've got to try
Every time I think about it water rises to my eyes.
Situation desperate, echoes of the victims cry
If I had a rocket launcher...Some son of a bitch would die

7. Well I'll take Salvador option for 100 trillion dinar, Mr. Negroponte!
This does not look good at all...

Is this the same org that released the 128,000 figure civilian casualty count? Cause if it was, its without a doubt tinfoil time.
