Brownback set to hold meeting with Gonzales

Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.), a conservative member of the Judiciary Committee, plans to meet this week with Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who has been mentioned as a possible Supreme Court nominee.

Asked whether Gonzales would be a good nominee, Brownback replied, “I need to talk with him about his view of the Constitution to tell. That’s what I hope to do this week.”

I find Senator Brownbutt's blatant attempt at positioning himself for 2008 (as someone important enough to help vet the President's SCOTUS nominee before he is even chosen) to be sooooooo transparent.

IIRC he's in with Ashcroft all for the pseudo-military tribunal kangaroo court bullcrap with torture and Guantanamo-like affairs for the summarily convicted. This guy's goose-stepping it the whole way with the rest of the Bushites.

It's really time we call this thing out by its proper name. It's neo-Nazism. Forget Fitzgerald, these guys need to be up in an international court with Israeli WWII experts assisting the judges for what they're trying to pull over on us and what they've already done to Iraqis and Afghans.
