LONDON (Reuters) - Police hunting those behind last week's London bomb blasts on Wednesday raided a residential address in the town of Aylesbury, about 40 miles (64 km) northwest of the capital.
A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police Service, which is coordinating the hunt, denied a report by Sky News television that they had made a fresh arrest during in the raid.
"Officers from the MPS Anti-Terrorist Branch, supported by officers from Thames Valley Police, executed a search warrant issued under the Terrorism Act 2000 at one residential premises in Buckinghamshire on the evening of Wednesday 13th July.
"A detailed forensic examination is expected to be carried out and may take some time to complete. This is in connection with the ongoing investigation into the terrorist attacks in London on 7/7/05. No arrests," she said.
